he Nansen-Zhu International Research Centre (NZC) is established in 2003. The Centre was a joint venture at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China between Institute of Atmospheric Physics/Chinese Academy of Sciences (IAP/CAS), China, Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Center (NERSC), Norway, Peking University (PKU), China, University of Bergen (UoB), Norway and Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research (BCCR), Norway. The main research activities of the centre are the climate and climate change, and the environmental issues. A number of 36 members (including students) are employed at the centre.
