The Bristol Glaciology Centre is the premier university glaciology centre in UK and has extensive expertise in understanding how the cryosphere interacts with the rest of the climate system with a particular focus on the role of glaciers, ice sheets and sea ice. There are about 25 members of the centre with expertise ranging from satellite remote sensing, field observations to numerical modelling at both a regional and global scale.
